Children Ministries
Every Sunday at Grace, we open our arms to welcome children into God’s family. They come in all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments and we are excited for the opportunity to love, teach and care for them. At Grace, we are intentional about being a part of God’s family and that purpose extends into our children’s ministry.
Our desire at Grace is that God’s Word takes root in the hearts of our children and our teachers continue to prep the soil, plant the seeds, and water their hearts with God’s love.If you are visiting Grace for the first time, it’s always helpful to know where to go with children! While they are always welcome in worship, we find that most kids enjoy a little more “wiggle room” when it come to worship and exploring God’s Word.
At the 9am Traditional Service, Nursery Care for children ages 3 and under is located in Room 6, right across from the side entrance to the Sanctuary. Pagers are available as well as a changing area and nursing room. For children ages 4 through grade 5
, an energetic Bible exploration takes place in the Fellowship Hall, with breakfast served from 9am – 9:15am. Parents are welcomed upstairs in the Youth Room for a time of fellowship and study on topics ranging from Christian Parenting to Marriage and Relationships.
At the 10:30am Contemporary Service, Children begin worship together with their families and are dismissed to REVOLVE, our rotational-model Sunday School after the Children’s Prayer. REVOLVE begins with a time of group worship, offering/ mission and instruction before breaking into crews and exploring the Bible Story through a variety of games, crafts, videos and interactive fun! Nursery Care is located in Room 6.
Each summer, Grace Church opens our arms as wide at they can stretch (God seems to lengthen them a bit each year!) as we welcome over 250 children for a week of Vacation Bible School! It is always amazing to watch God at work within the hearts of the kids and our VBS volunteers.
