Children's Ministry
Childhood is an important season in life to become rooted in truth and love. We offer various fun opportunities at
Grace Presbyterian Church Vista for our children to become rooted in God’s family. Safety is of utmost importance, all of our staff, leaders, and Sunday School Teachers are Live Scan Screened with the Department of Justice, Background checked, and go through yearly training on protecting children.
Infants and Toddlers - We would love for families with young infants and toddlers to stay in the sanctuary for worship. We offer a Family Room with a Live Video Feed of the service and snacks for those moments parents need to step out of the Sanctuary.
Preschool to 5th Grade - Children start worship in the Sanctuary with their families then are dismissed to Sunday School Following the Children's Message (A special sermon for the kids during our church service). In Sunday School Children study the same Biblical text that is preached on in Worship through, arts, crafts, and reading their Bibles. Each Class has at least two Sunday School Teachers who are background checked and trained yearly. Following worship parents check out their children from the Sunday School Classrooms.

Small Groups
At Grace, we believe that one of the ways a community of Christ-like disciples is cultivated is in the context of small groups. The reality is that we cannot grow into the people God has designed us to be on our own, and so we follow the example of Jesus and the disciples and meet together at various times during the week to help support and grow together (Hebrews 10:24-25). Each small group has a component of Bible study, prayer, and support, no matter what the topic the group is studying. Groups vary in size from 4-15 people, and there are many groups to choose from.
